![]() That song, once duplicated, would then show up in the list of all songs in iTunes and you could then change the album name, artwork, etc. How do I accomplish the same task now with Music (v 1.2.5.7)?įor example, once upon a time I could highlight a song in iTunes and choose from a menu item-I think if you clicked on a song it gave you options-to duplicate the song. Q: How to create a new album in Music with existing songs? In an earlier life iTunes allowed you to duplicate a song & change the tags on it so it (the duplicate) would show up under a different album. To be upfront, I tried everything there is to try to include deleting and adding the album again. IF someone out there has an idea of how to correct this, I'm all ears. If I somehow manage to get that last track to live amounst the other, another track with remove itself from the list. I've gone through the "sort as" but even when I have all the sorting formatted the same, there is always one track that will not conform. what's driving me nuts is once I'm finished formatting the album info to my liking, somehow the album is split up between multiple tracks of the same album all with the album art. meaning i cspitalize what needs to be capitalized and if it's a compilation, i'll check compilation within the "get info" menu. when i add the album to the music app., i tend to clean up the metadata. lets say i download an album from bandcamp. Music app (not to be confused with apple music) this is an example of the issue I have everytime i add an album to the music app.
